The ABA Nashville Soul announced today that they are looking for two big men and two guards to fill out their roster as they make their move to the playoffs. “We need two big men and two outstanding guards (point guard, shooting guard)” stated team owner Paul Allsup. “If you are good enough, you will be back next year too. Jersey City Represented During Final Express Tryout
Tri-State Area Players Joined Jersey City Locals for Huge Turnout
Jersey City, N.J. (Monday, October 17, 2011) – The Jersey Express Professional Basketball Team, held its Final Tryout on Saturday, October 15th @ The Heights Middle School #7, Jersey City, NJ. Local players from Jersey City turned out in droves, with the recent announcement that the Express would be making its home in Jersey City, at the Jersey City Armory located at 678 Montgomery Street.
Here’s a list of some of the players from Jersey City: Paris King, Paul Session, Derrick Mercer, Paul Taylor, Timothy Wesley, Marquis Blackwell, Jerrell James, and John King to name a few.
Chicago Fury Tryouts – VENUE HAS CHANGED
The Chicago Fury is a new Men’s Professional Basketball Team in Chicago and a traveling for the American Basketball Association (ABA). The Chicago Fury will host a combine to fill its 2011-2012 Season Rosters

Jersey Express Final Tryouts

Indianapolis Drive Tryouts
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Drive, a local franchise of the new American Basketball Association, will host tryouts at Indy South Sports Academy Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 1 p.m.
Pre-registration for the Indianapolis Drive tryouts will take place at 12:30 p.m. and begin immediately at 1 p.m. The cost to try out for the men’s team will be $60 in advance, $75 the day of the event. Players can register for tryouts on the Indianapolis Drive website: www.theindydrive.com.
