Indianapolis, IN.  The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the
Spyders of Georgia will return to the ABA next season.  “We’ve very pleased to have them back,” stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO.  “A new look and new logo are just a few new wrinkles that Hip hop entrepreneur Spyder D (whose real name is Duane Hughes) has added.”
“ABA CEO Joe Newman and I had a great discussion and we felt it was best if we took a full season to brand before playing in an official capacity,” added Spyder D, who just released a new single on ITunes with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Chuck D.
“We are aiming to be the premiere team in the league so we want to take our time and do it right. We will spend this year doing league-wide exhibitions and fund raisers for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Atlanta through our Hip Hop Loves You Back Foundation.  As soon ads we have solidified our venue agreement, we will start playing various teams at home and abroad.  I am sending out contrzct offers to former And 1 stars 50, Spyda and Hot Sauce, as they are three very exciting players from the area, and crowd pleasers wherever they play.”
